![]() To sound like “Nothing Else Matters" and "Cemetery Gates”:ħ. To sound like the intro of the songs of Metallica, "One", "Harvester of Sorrow", "Sanitarium":Ģ. Here are the patches: (THESE ARE JUST MY INTERPRETATIONS, SO IF OTHERS DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T BOTHER TO GIVE OUT COMMENTS! OK?!)ġ. ![]() Mine is a Washburn WI24, but in the US, it is WI14 model. But I think it also depends on the guitar. I turn the Treble knob to 7, Mid to 3 and Bass knob to 5. Before using these patches, you must preset your amplifier. Here are some of my patches that I would like to share them to you. The disortion is good, but not terrific, you're better off buying a boss DS1 and putting it before it. Powerful tool for making effects you can't buy.Ī/B switch stops annoying clicking between channels. ![]() Sounds awesome, good for any Steve Vai or Dave Gilmore fans. Although it is easy to use the pre made effects, it's not for amatures, and would get very frustrating for early players. That put aside, it would probably take the average guitarist about 2 weeks to get a hang of making effects on it, but it is worth it when you find what you're after.Īll in all, it is well worth buying (as a matter of fact, I bought it!) if you're a professional. This tends to get very frustrating and often ends in a violent rage. In particular, the flanger is very nice indeed, as well as the wah effects, and a very trippy "talk" effect, which works well with distorion. With some experimentation I found that this was actually very effective in eliminating annoying cutouts which happen when you switch between programs on other effects boards. The first thing you notice when you look down on it is the first switch on the left hand side, where you would have the clean/distortion channel, you instead have a switch for a channels A and B. So I plugged it into a Behringer amp and grabbed a Les Paul studio, and started taking it though its paces. For anyone who doesn't know Korg is like the Gibson of keyboards, and they make very good tuners, but I had never heard and Korg effects before, and curiosity got the better of me. The first thing I was offered was the Korg AX1500G effects board. Last weekend it was my birthday and I got money to spend on my guitar, so off I was to the guitar shop to see what I could get my hands on. Okay, I'm board so I've decided to do something useful for a change and reveiw something. ![]()
